The Donald Lake Memorial Fund
Donald Lake died in 2009 and left his entire estate to charity.
By working with the Somerset Community Foundation the executors have been able to establish a Memorial Fund which has been ring fenced in the Foundation's Endowment fund thus ensuring that Mr Lake’s legacy will have a lasting benefit to local charity and vol organisations working with the elderly.
With the match funding from the Government under the Grassroots Grant scheme the fund is worth £100,000
Overtime we hope to attract donations to increase the size of this fund.
