First SCF Endowment Grant Awarded
The first grant has now been made from the Foundation’s endowment to South Barrow, where young residents have benefitted from outdoor play equipment.

The grant came from the W.C.S Pickford Trust, transferred in 2006 to Somerset Community Foundation, who now administer it.  The original trustees decided to transfer the fund as it had become largely forgotten about, but since then SCF has awarded its first two grants from the fund.
