Mark Village Short Mat Bowls Club - Tournament in aid of Somerset Community Foundation Mark Village Short Mat Bowls Club benefited from a grant awarded by Somerset Community Foundation to help with the purchase of new bowling mats. To acknowledge their successful funding application the club held their annual tournament on Saturday 24th April in aid of Somerset Community Foundation, raising £343 in support of the charity. The tournament was well attended by 12 clubs from around the county and from North Somerset. David Jenkins and Mark Saxton both Trustees of the Foundation attended the tournament.
