Somerset Community Foundation’s Race Day
Over 70 friends and guests gathered at Wincanton Racecourse on January 31st 2008 for the inaugural Somerset Community Foundation Race Day to enjoy a champagne reception, three-course lunch and a fine afternoon’s horseracing.

The guests were treated to some prudent betting guidance from Jonathan Powell, the Mail on Sunday’s racing correspondent. The SCF were fortunate to be given wonderful lots for the auction, which helped the Foundation to raise £3265 on the day.
