Cosyfeet Named Fund launched
Cosyfeet is a Street-based footwear company who have created a Named Fund aimed at supporting local projects which help those with mental health problems. David Price, Managing Director of Cosyfeet, found he was receiving countless appeals from a wide variety of worthy causes, particularly from national and international charities, but he felt that he wanted to focus on very local efforts to help those who suffer from mental health illness.

David was attracted to the Foundation’s approach which means he is able to use our experience and expertise to find suitable projects and handle all of the administration, but still involve him in deciding which ones in particular he would like the Cosyfeet fund to support. He told us “That is a very attractive package!”

The fund was set up in autumn 2006, and we anticipate that we will start making small grants from late summer 2007 once the fund has started to generate sufficient income.
