How you can help Somerset – Somerset Community Foundation

This is a unique opportunity for us all to build a major Endowment Fund for Somerset. This will provide much-needed long-term support to hundreds of local projects and initiatives that make such a difference to the lives of so many people. Without your support many of these invaluable local projects would simply not exist

Our Grassroots Grants Match Challenge is to raise £1million for communities in Somerset over the next two years. All donations through the challenge will be matched £ for £ by the Government

With Gift Aid the scheme is even more attractive, for example:

Higher Rate Taxpayers will also be able to claim back 25% of their initial donations in tax relief.

Total received	2,000	25,000
Net cost to Company after tax relief*	720	9,000

For Business’s we can add 100% to donations, but they can claim Corporation Tax Relief on their gift.
