University Bursaries for Individuals

We run a small number of bursary programmes for individuals. These are summarised below and each one has a link that will take you to more information and an application form.

  • Dyke Exhibition and Hobhouse Memorial Trust
You can apply for a bursary here if you are entering the first year of an undergraduate course at a UK university in the forthcoming academic year and are aged 18-25 years. You will need to meet the eligibility criteria which covers Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.

Apply for up to £500 per year for up to 3 years
Submit your application between 26 April and 9 June 2021

  • Eagle House Bursary Programme
You can apply for a bursary here if you are entering the first year of an undergraduate course at a UK university in the forthcoming academic year, are aged 18-24 years, and have received significant support from Children's Services in either Somerset, Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire.

Apply for £1,500 per year for up to 3 years
Submit your application between 12 April and 25 June 2021
  • Huish's Exhibitions
You can apply for a bursary here if you are entering the first year of university in the forthcoming academic year and are, or have been, a student at Richard Huish College Taunton, King’s College Taunton, Queen’s College Taunton, Taunton School, and Wellington School.
 
Apply for up to £400 per year for up to 3 years
This bursary programme is now closed and will re-open in February 2022
