Open Grants Programme for projects over £100,000
The Hinkley Point C Community Fund Open Grants Programme is for VCSE organisations seeking funding for projects to mitigate the impacts of Hinkley Point C or access its opportunities. There are two different processes depending on whether you are seeking funding for projects of under £100,000 or over £100,000.
Please see www.hpcfunds.co.uk for more information on eligibility criteria and other frequently asked questions.
If the cost of your project or activity is £5,000 or less and your annual turnover is less than £100,000 it may be better suited to a different grants programme. Please return to www.hpcfunds.co.uk for more information.
If you are seeking funding of more than £100,000 there is a two stage application process. We ask you first to submit an Expression of Interest for consideration by the Awards Panel. You may then be invited to submit a full application for consideration at a future meeting. Please be aware that depending on when you submit your applications this process may take 6- 7 months. Guidance notes for the Expression of Interest can be accessed here. If you are invited to progress to stage two further application forms and guidance will be provided.
In order for us to support you in developing your application we ask that you first submit a 200 word statement outlining your project or idea and the impact of Hinkley Point C that you are mitigating; or the opportunities you hope to access. Once we have reviewed this we will contact you and if we feel that it meets the criteria of the fund we will send you a link to an Expression of Interest Form.
Click here to register. Once you have registered a link to a summary form will be emailed to you.
This is an ongoing programme with decisions made quarterly. To be considered at the next award meeting your expression of interest must be submitted by 13 December 2018.
If you would like to discuss your project or idea with us please contact Val Bishop, Programmes Director: firstname.lastname@example.org or call: 01749 344949
