Tenebrae coming to Wells on a high after winning BBC Music Magazine Award
Widely regarded as one of the world’s finest vocal ensembles and described as phenomenal by the Times, Tenebrae are coming to Wells next Friday (15th April) to perform their programme ‘A Hymn of Heavenly Beauty’ in aid of Somerset Community Foundation. Tenebrae will be arriving in Somerset on a high after winning their third BBC Music Magazine Award at a prestigious ceremony in London last night, so make sure you don’t miss the chance to see them in action!
Tenebrae will perform in the stunning surroundings of Wells Cathedral at 7:30pm on Friday 15th April, with the programme featuring some of the most beautiful choral works ever written, ranging from the masters of the Renaissance through to modern day luminaries such as John Tavener.
All profits from the ticket sales will support the work of Somerset Community Foundation, thanks to the generous support of a long-term supporter making the concert possible.
