Somerset Philanthropy Network

Somerset Community Foundation offers a simpler and more effective way for families, companies and trusts to make a lasting difference to our communities. Since we were founded in 2002, we’ve supported hundreds of small charities, voluntary groups and social enterprises in Somerset with funding of more than £7.5 million.

We bring unrivalled local knowledge of local need, and of the charities and community groups that are the lifeblood of our county and that help Somerset to thrive.  Every year, we invest in more than 250 local organisations across Somerset that are working tirelessly to improve the lives of local people.

We want to be the catalyst for inspirational philanthropy in Somerset that has the power to transform our communities.

Through the Somerset Philanthropy Network, we’ll build an engaged and connected community of people who are passionate about supporting Somerset. The network will:

Innovate by harnessing your expertise and insight to help us pioneer new funding models and respond to emerging local need

Connect members with other donors who are passionate about supporting local charities, and with Somerset’s most effective organisations on the ground. Through research, events and updates, we'll help you deepen your understanding of local issues

Invest in Somerset Community Foundation, helping us to unlock new funding for local charities, deepen our knowlegde and insight and grow our impact across Somerset
