Churchstanton Community Fund

Apply for money to help your charity or community group support the residents of Churchstanton Parish

Apply here for up to £1,000.

You can apply for money from here if you work or volunteer for a charity or community group that benefits the residents of Churchstanton Parish in the Blackdown Hills.

Ask for money by 14 May 2021 and we’ll let you know if we can help you in early June 2021.

Before you start to apply

It doesn’t cost anything to apply for money from us and we pay the money to your group as a grant. You don't need to pay a grant back to us, as long as you use it for what you said you would.

You don’t have to be good at writing applications to get a grant from us. If we’re not sure about something, then we’ll ask you. We can also support you if English isn’t your first language, or if you have other access needs.

Remember that many people apply to us for money. We won't have enough to award everyone a grant.

How long does it take to get the money?

You must apply by 5pm, Friday 14 May 2021.

We'll let you know if we can help you in early June 2021.

You must spend the money by June 2022 at the latest.

You must write a short report for us at the end of your grant. We’ll send you an email about this nearer the time.

Where does the money come from?

The Churchstanton Community Fund was created using money from Anesco, a company that installed a solar farm at Culmhead Aerodrome.

Please contact us if you can't use the online form, or attach any of these documents. We'll support you to make your application in another way.

What do we do with your application?

We’ll email you within one week to confirm that we have received your application. If you don’t hear from us in that time, then please contact us.

A member of our Grants Team will look at your application. If we have a question, then we’ll email you. If preferred, we can arrange a phone call or video call.

The Grants Team will then look at your website and social media, if you have them. We’ll also check with the Charity Commission and Companies House. All this information will then be used to make a recommendation

Recommendations are considered by Churchstanton Parish Council or their nominated representatives.
